Après avoir quitté l'Uruguay et ma famille (les Quémérés), en une semaine nous traversons l'Argentine d'Est en Ouest par le centre pour arriver dans la région de Mendoza. La région du bon vin, des montagnes colorées et du sel...bien sur on y trouve aussi tout les trucs Argentins communs: condors, pampa et vue sur les Andes. La routine quoi...

After leaving Uruguay and Katia's family, we crossed Argentina in a week from East to West by the center to reach Mendoza region. The region of good wine, colorful mountains and salt ... of course there are also all the Argentinian usual things: condors, pampas and views over the Andes. Every day life here...

Salinas del Diamante

Le Malbec était fantastique mais les vignes pas aussi bluffantes que la première saline visitée en Amérique du Sud. Tellement rose qu'il a fallu qu'on goute pour voir si c'était bien du sel et non de la peinture!
Une fois qu'on a eu finit de mettre tout ce qu'on a trouvé par terre dans notre bouche, on a repris notre route pour le Chili.

The Malbec was fantastic but the vines were not as amazing as the first salt lake visited in South America. So pink that we had to taste to see if it was salt and not paint!
Once we had finished putting everything we found on the floor in our mouth, we headed back to Chile.





Un autre jump par dessus les Andes et on est de nouveau au Chili...à Santiago chez nos amis Pancho et Lorena. Nous avions rencontré Pancho par internet sur un forum de pêche. Grace à lui et ses bons coins, on a eu de la truite jusqu'en Patagonie! Pancho et Lorena nous ont accueillit comme des rois et on a passer un super moment avec eux à Santiago... et aux alentours pour pêcher bien sur!

Another jump over the Andes and we were back in Chile ... in Santiago with our friends Pancho and Lorena. We met Pancho by internet on a fishing forum. During our journey in Chile, Pancho found us the best fishing spots possible! Pancho and Lorena welcomed us like kings and we had a great time with them in Santiago... and the surrounding area to go fishing of course! Thank you so much guys!!!!

On est à Santiago du Chili pour une bonne raison, récupérer les parents d'Ivan. Donc le 15 Avril 2018, on retrouve Noëlle et Patrice à l'aéroport. Ils ne posent pas leurs bagages et on monte directement dans un bus pour Valparaiso. Durant 2 jours, on a arpenté les rues décorées et les maisons peintes. Valparaiso est une des villes les plus "Arti" qu'on est visité et l'ambiance est super! Un jolie cadre pour des retrouvailles!

  We were in Santiago for good reason, meeting Ivan's parents. So on April 15th, 2018, we get Noëlle and Patrice at the airport. Just the time to say hello and we caught a bus directly to Valparaiso. During 2 days, we walked along the decorated streets and the painted houses. Valparaiso is one of the most "Arty" cities we visited and the atmosphere is great! Nice place for family reunion!
